This doggy is growing up...

Our sweet 'little' doggy Milo makes for a great photo subject.

Nothing is as limitless as the great blue sky.

The snail leaves its trail wherever it goes”

Will you walk a little faster?” said the whiting to a snail,
There's a porpoise close behind us and he's treading on my tail.”

'I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues'
(Dr. Suess, The Lorax)

But they do have eyes...

...faces...

...and they can dance.

Random impressions

One moment's impression

Suddenly you find yourself in it, observing from a distance but a part of it at the same time, because you are the one that noticed.  The beauty of it makes you feel alive and humble.
It is an honor to be chosen to see...

I am thankful for this moment, I felt free riding my bicycle and just had to stop for a while to take it in....
and make a picture of it.

About Stefanie

The little things in life make me smile.

Once I sat on a bus, that stood in front of a red light and spotted a house sparrow searching for insects under a window sill. I watched this little creature hunting for his daily meal and smiled at the simplicity of its philosophy.  Search for food and stay alive, that’s what was most important to him at that time.
When I took up photography as a hobby, I quickly noticed that the close ups of those small things are what make me put in the extra effort of taking picture after picture of the same thing until I get the perfect one.

I used to post many pictures on facebook, I had a lot of albums there.  But when i realised that anyone could use my pictures without even asking for my consent, I just couldn't leave them on there...

Everything you see is real and not edited.  I don't like using photo editing software, because i love the effort of 'getting it right' in the field.
I use PicMonkey's online free photo editor to add 'Pictures by Stefanie' and that's it!

Hope you enjoy!!
